Norman Aviation Services, Inc. was a customer service-oriented maintenance facility located on Paine Field in Everett, WA. We cared for a wide variety of aircraft. Our customers included private individuals, corporations and flight schools.
Norman Aviation closed its doors at the end of November 2009, after almost 10 years of operation.
Dear Customers and Friends of Norman Aviation:
Ten years pass by in an instant. That's how it has seemed to us. Norman Aviation started in 2000, and has survived through a number of twists and turns in the aviation industry. Our boys have grown into men, we've seen several mechanics graduate and move on into the mission field.
Our favorite joke has always been the one about how you make a small fortune in the aviation industry (start out with a large one), mostly because we started this business without much of anything other than a love of airplanes. We've learned enough to write textbooks on running a business. In some cases, how to books, in others how not-to. We've made good friends and thoroughly enjoyed the flight.
But all good things do come to an end eventually, and with the close of November 2009, Norman Aviation has closed its doors for good. We won't be leaving the area, and Mark will still be around if anyone wants to meet up for coffee and hangar chat. Lisa will still be tinkering away somewhere with a computer.
If we have your keys or log-books, please come by and pick them up. We'll be making an effort to get in touch with all of you that this effects. The tie-down customers will be handed off to Northway Aviation, so make sure to touch base with Jim Grant and make arrangements.
Again, thank you all for being a part of this wonderful adventure. May you have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
Mark and Lisa Norman
